Seemed like we've started enough of a conversation to have a 9th edition topic, so here it is. I'll start with some basic information, so everyone can know what we're discussing.

Sororitas Rhino - The basic transport for Sisters... there's not really more I can say.

Immolator - Once (a long time ago) It was a heavy support, reflecting the role it still fills as an 'assault' tank in our army.

Repressor (Legends) - Forgeword variant that's been out of production for a while. Not something that's likely to be discussed much, but it may come up.

Immolators are still kinda expensive for what they do. I'd much rather just take a Rhino for the most part.

They are, especially if you aren't using them to their fullest extent. But I think they're a good choice for early objective grabbing if that becomes a standard tactic in the new edition.

Immolators are trash, rhinos are pretty solid in 9th, repressors are heading for legends.

That's basically the whole whole conversation right there.

So by early objective grabbing, I'm assuming you mean advancing up the board aggressively with them? If so wouldn't it still be better to take a rhino since early objective grabbers are likely to draw a lot of fire.

not so much up as out. And they are likely to draw fire, but tactically speaking, it's the nearby troops that can steal the objective that you're going to be concerned about more than how many Lascannons are pointed at the Immolator.
