It's not a modeling tool per se', but I'd suggest modelers consider adding one of these to their tool boxes for those inevitable little accidents.





The nice thing is you can dab some on just the spot you cut and it doesn't cover your whole thumb, fingertip, etc.

Superglue, the cause, and solution, to many an assembly 'incident'

Although, I believe, that medical grade superglue is a less toxic version than straight modelling cyanoacrylate.

Haven't used brush-on, but spray is good, too. Spray is more convenient if you only have one hand. The pump is awful. The spray can also be used on animal cuts.

Does the brush-on work as glue, though? I'm always looking for a glues weaker than superglue for temporary holds.
