Notes: The Bulk of the Battalion is to strike fast and strike hard; to pressure all objectives on the board and keep an assertive hold. Voldus, Strike Squads and Interceptors are for flexibility and maneuverability, and the primary units for pressuring, harassing and defending objectives when needed. The Heavy hitters of the army; the elite squad of Paladins supported by a Brother Captain, Paladin Ancient and Apothecaries, are to push hard against the enemy elites and primarily hold the middle board objectives. Banner of refining flame to deal with problematic vehicles and large units, and even though the primary strength of the army is melee, shooting is also very strong combined with Psybolt Ammunition Stratagem and Paladin Storm bolters. A Venerable Dreadnought is providing as the only long range firepower with Astral Aim for cover. A Librarian is there to stay back and continue to cast Warp Shaping when needed and Empyrean Domination as much as possible. He has a Hammer since I had spare 15 points, and I figured if he is in a position where he getting charged, the game at that point has not gone well already, and he might as well have a Hammer to smash things even though it will rarely ever get to that point with him.
Question: 1 - I know in this edition in the research I've done, that objectives and holding them are going to be really important. I was wondering if it might be better to replace 1 Apothacary and the Dreadnought with 1 more Paladin Squad, since that adds to 250. Should I do this or keep what I currently have?
Question 2 - I'm still new to the Rules so I'm still trying to Understand the Rule of 1 Psychic phase. It means that you can only cast 1 specific psychic ability per unit per turn and they can't cast the same one twice. Does this rule also applies to a Psychic ability for the entire turn? So for example if a Paladin Squad Casts HammerHand, does that mean another Paladin squad can't cast HammerHand?
If I made any incorrect rules or organizing the army please let me know,
Much appreciated!
