So I found an interesting oversight in battle scribe or maybe not. I don't think this is but is the Operative Requisition Sanctioned stratagem still valid in 9th? If it is it would allow an Inquisitor and a assassin in a single detachment. At -2 cp a patrol would work just as well but would have hq and troop tax. Just looked it seems Index: Officio Assassinorum still has a FAQ.

No, it's not. The Assassin rules, in full, have been superseded by the ones found in War of the Spider. You always use the latest rules.

For those so inclined regarding "precedent", the SM FAQ makes this explicit.
