Hi.
Has anyone used this for non gundam minatures?
Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color 40ml https://g.co/kgs/Dbn7cq
Seems legit. Looking at some instructional videos it seems like some sort of enamel. Not sure how it differs to your usial inks and shaders in terms of consistancy but it seems to love hitting those panel gaps. Thinking of trying this out on eldar stuff. Any thoughts?

It's the same as any enamel or oil paint. Oil based, so capillary action flows much more smoothly, no tide marks, and any overspill can be cleaned easily with white spirit .

I have been using it on allmoust all my minis for years.
It is ment to be used as a pin wash, if you want to use it as a regular wash you must dilute it.
I find them to be mutch better at recess shading then regular washes.

As has already been said, it's just an enamel or oil wash. The paint itself isn't anything special, the 'gimmick' of that product and similar ones (I think AK Interactive might make one?) is that the lid of the pot itself has a brush attached to it, so you can unscrew the cap and paint straight on your model without dirtying and then cleaning an actual brush. You just uncrew the cap, dab on some panel liner, screw the cap back on. It's definitely a VERY attractive product from an ease of use angle; if you aren't already painting with enamels or oils it's a HUGE pain to buy and use different solvents and cleaners just for 1 paint, and products like the above remove that issue. If you are happy to use your own brushes to paint with enamels or oils, there's a million other products out there that do the same thing. AK Interactive and mig ammo are 2 brands I have used that make good 'panel liners'.

I like the applicator as well.
It seems to flow rapidly.
