Ok, I'm curious about something.
What percentage of the time when you're modeling and working with a sharp tool do you shed at least a little blood? 10% 30% More?
Be honest, I'm just wondering how often people can;t help nicking a finger tip while cutting off that last tiny but of sprue.

I cut my finger tips fairly often but they rarely bleed. Its probably because I play guitar so I have really tough fingertips on my off hand.

I stab myself in the thumb/index finger all the time. 50% of the time itll bleed, but rarely enuff for a bandage. I nearly cut the tip of my right thumb off while chopping carrots last night, different hobby tho w a much bigger knife.

I think it's only happened twice to me where I drew blood. Once during the first ever time I've used a hobby knife. Cut my thumb fairly badly.
The second was when I idly put my hobby knife on my lap. And got up suddenly due to a phonecall. Only noticing a few minutes later when my foot was bleeding profusely as it'd stabbed into my foot when it fell off my lap.
Otherwise I've only ever had super shallow cuts that don't even go through the skin layers.

My wife always knows when I've put a new blade in my exacto knife, as I'll have a bandaid on at least one of my thumbs.

10% sounds about right.
Cleaning mold lines with exacto, especially from metal models will leave micro cuts in thumb. rarely bleeds.
And, at least 3 times now, finger held micro drill bit broke and went into other finger holding the piece.
And one time lolz, so stupid, Back then I used those long handle artist brushes and had a habit of holding paint brushes in mouth when I needed both hands. Got so used to it so much that did not think twice when I jerked up my leg up to tie the shoe laces, and kneed the brush into my gums.

Pick up some of that spray bandage stuff. Maybe spraying before you cut off the mold lines from a bunch of miniatures would help?
