Hello all,

I am jumping onto the 40k bandwagon after playing Warhammer Fantasy and then 9th Age.

I have a bunch of lizardmen and elves that are not seeing any use and I figured an exodite army list would be an excellent way to come up with a nice looking army.

My concern after seeing the pictures of armies online of carnosaurs and stegadons acting as tanks is I can't find a base size.

Would this be ok to do if I wanted to eventually attend tournaments and ITC events? Or would this only be acceptable in the beer and pretzel games?

Thanks!

i'd play against a nicely converted army any day as long as its clear what is what.

Eldar tanks all come on 60mm flying stands but the tanks are much bigger and distances are measure from their hulls.

Wave serpents (without the vanes) are 5"x7"
Falcons are 5"x6"

So if I made up some 5x7 bases for wave serpents and some 5x6 bases for Falcons I should be alright?

I wouldn't have any problems with it personally. If youre planning on attending tournaments, you should ask the TO beforehand but for pick up games it would probably be fine. Oh, and on a base theyre
about 4" tall.

Converted exodite armies are probably my favourite 40k stuff, only someone with no style or self respect could refuse!
With the caveat that tournaments may be more of a stickler for such things.
