Subject: Aventine Early Byzantine Heavies with Hand Painted Banner
I have absolutely enjoyed every moment of painting up this unit. They really are beautifully crafted miniatures and deserved all the TLC they received.
The last two ranks are currently drying after glossing and on the advice of meistro Redzed I'm going to be leaving the gloss to go off thoroughly for a few days before matting down.
i hope you enjoy the pics half as much as I did painting them up.
Those are beautiful, and the hand painted banner is fine!
Oh, it is a little early, but if you meet a nobleman with the family name of Ducas, KILL HIM and his children! It will save the Empire much grief later.
