7 PL - Exalted sorcerer - spell : prescience, warp time

14 PL -10 rubric marines 8 bolter hell , 1 soul harvest cannon ,1 aspriring sorcerer with fire storm.

11 PL- 5 scarab occult terminators, 3 combibolter and sword, 1
soul harvest cannon, 1sorcerer with fate weaver, combibolter and staff.

4 PL - 1 Rhino -havoc launcher and combibolter.

7 PL - 1 hellbrute ( It is the one of dark revenge so it already comes with a combat fist and fusion cannon).

I know very little about Chaos, but it looks to me like you will have a very hard time making 25PL armies out of that for Combat Patrols. And your HQ's being 7PL means it'll be a massive hit to your army if you lose one early on.

The Helbrute is your anti-tank, I assume? That's actually a decent plan - I'm using an AOBR "chonkanaught" as my anti-tank in a Crusade I've got going on. The ability to fire a multi-melta in close combat and not degrade stats is pretty good.

If this were a Space Marine list, I'd suggest dropping the 14PL unit and replacing it with 2 tac squads (1 with a heavy weapon and 1 with a plasma gun) and a unit of Devastators. I'm not sure what the comparable Chaos units would be.

I like this list.

Remember that you start with 5 Requisition points that can be spent on upgrades for your units.

So if you have the option to take one on a squad it likely has to be when you chose the unit. For example Loyalist Marines can upgrade their HQs and a unit or 2. As such my list has upgraded my Librarian to a Chief Librarian and my Captain to a Chapter Master this upgrade has to be bought when you add the unit to your Battle Roster.

Then if you want you can add Warlord Traits and Relics. Those can be done at creation or when the unit levels up.

I prefer to spend as many points before battle.

Last Edition I bought most of the upgrades so I am doing it this time as well.

I love Rhinos (especially with Havoc Launchers) [My loyalist heart is jealous of Havoc Launchers]. Don't forget you can add a second Combibolter or Combi-weapon to it.

Overall this list will beat the breaks off an infantry based army. Tons of shots and AP.

However, it only has 1 source of high strength attacks that I am seeing. Which could be a problem if they have vehicles or what not. Of course most vehicles are T6 or 7, which means you wound on a 5 and with that many shots you might not need heavy weapons and you will be slicing their Armor as well.

I agree with the above, and I generally like the list, I'm not a huge fan of the soul reaper cannons, but I think you should take the missile pods on the scarabs, I don't play power level that often so I don't know what you can and can't do in it.

I love playing my T-Sons, but this edition has hurt them a lot with the nerfing of smite spam. Just remember that Thousand Sons do add the +1 to smite casts now.

and finally I don't know if you can pick a cult for campaigns or not, but if you can you should pick duplicity, it lets you toss a unit across the board, or yank a unit out of close combat and reposition them to hold an objective or shoot an enemy, since the spell doesn't count as falling back.

Edit: I also want to point out I have zero idea how the campaigns for 9th are supposed to go since I haven't read the rules for it yet.
