My buddy and I are planning to play our first game of 9th next weekend. I'll be playing 'rons and him dark angels. We haven't decided on total points yet but will prob be 1500 or 1750. I recently watched a miniwargaming 9th necron vid on yt from a month ago where they said at the beginning they were using power levels with the new models because they didn't have access to point costs and the new faq yet? Wasn't sure what they meant and I couldn't find anything too relevant in the newest faqs here on dakka. I just wanted to know if there's any new 9th faqs somewhere we should know about or will this match be super unbalanced or something. Any additional advice for a fight against dark angels would be appreciated! I believe he will be using some of the new indomitus marines? Not positive.Ty!

There have been several updates recently. Including the Power level update (which is in the document title Power Rating Update, because GW uses 'level' and 'rating' interchangeably for unknown reasons)

Points are in a separate book in the CA2020 pack with the tournament missions. If you don't have it, I'd recommend using the power update since its free, and points are a bit of an odd state right now, and using 8th edition points even odder.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.
