hey guys. You have to take either 2 Deff guns, or 2 rattler kannons, you cant take one of each.

Furthermore, it states for the rattler kannons that it has Heavy 2D6 for its type.


Now that makes me confused. Does that mean i get Heavy 2D6 for each of my 2 rattler kannon turrets? Or is that Heavy 2D6 for BOTH turrets (so essentially its 1D6 for each gun for a total of 2D6).

i cant really figure it out. normally id say that each gun has their own value, so it would be a total of 4D6 as each turret has Heavy 2D6 and you have that x2 because of 2 turrets. Like if i had two Big Shootas they would also fire their own gun with their own statistics.


But 4D6 shots just seem obscenely much for 1 vehicle.

It’s 4D6. Each Kannon has 2D6 and you must take 2.

It's 4d6 and yes, it's obscenely much.

It's the result of a unit getting a previously expensive gun for free and a higher chance to hit with it because of the transition to 9th. Don't expect it to last.

It's 4D6 in total, but each gun is individually 2D6. This means you can either fire 4D6 shots at one target, or 2D6 shots at target A and 2D6 shots at target B.

Also the Chinork has almost halved in price since the launch of the FW indexes. It's a really good value unit all things considered.

that amount of 4D6 for one vehicle costing only 90 points just seemed out of the world for me.

I acquired my chinork warkopta before 9th came out and i havent even painted it yet, i was just curious really.

Seemed like a lot of shots for a cheap model, so had to be sure if i understood it correctly, but also because you had to take two rattlers, or two deff guns so maybe the "type" was tied to both weapons.

i know, or ill roll 4x 1 for a total of 4 shots

Meanwhile, I'll roll 24 shots and hit only one of them.

My usual trick would be to roll only 5 shots, then hit with all of them, convert 4 6's into extra hits, and end up with more hits than I had shots - seems to happen surprisingly often in my games (though it's probably just that I remember these cases more)!
