Good morning!
I would like to share with you my Imperial Fists Bladeguard Veteran, a little project that I recently painted!
I'm a huge fan of classic 'Eavy Metal style, I learned how to paint following the White Dwarf tutorials, and despite I know that this isn't the most realistic or complex style out there, I always enjoy to paint with the classic clean style of 'Eavy Metal staff, I hope you like it!
I've also made a quick video where you can see the painting process behind this guy, not a proper encyclopedic tutorial, but I hope it would be interesting for you!
Phenomenal work. Crisp lines, very neat freehand, crazy lightning effect, colour transitions in the metal around the shield, scratched leather... and that skin.
Sweet Emperor, that's just incredible...! As well as the sword, I love how you've done the chest and purity seals. I'm not normally a fan of how bright red can look on the Fists, but that really works.
"Hard pressed on my right. My centre is yielding. Impossible to manoeuvre. Situation excellent. I am attacking." - General Ferdinand Foch
Oh I would really love to paint a full squad, but people keep asking to show them different chapters and I can't disappoint them
Thanks everybody guys, I really appreciate ^^
These 'Eavy Metal style marines (I painted also a Space Wolf and a Black Templar) are giving me such fun, I love this style and I can't wait to have enough time to paint one of them at a higher level (let's say not "advanced tabletop" like this one, but more Golden Demon oriented u__u)
