Technobarbarism Level: 1, Chain Axe. I feel no pain. Obviously CQC Heavy.

Religious Zeal : 1, Renegades and Pirates. We don't care for it. (3-4 is squad based cults/do what thou wilt, 5-6 is FOR THE DARK GODS)

Ambitions : 4, Other renegades will recognize our might. Fame and Loot. (1-2 is kill tallies, 5 or 6 is Daemonic Ascension )

I let fate decide how I'll plan my chaos warband by rolling a D6 and the digits also happen to be my birthday. I just need to know what progenitor legions fit the bill here. They seem like brawling thugs and plunderers more than world eater berzerkers.

Sounds like closest fit among the original Legions would be the Night Lords. They don't care much for the gods, and they're all about plundering - only issue is that they're definitely more about sneaking and guerrilla/shock tactics than they are brawlers.
Aside from that, I don't see any of the Legions fitting, so if Night Lords doesn't sound good, maybe post-Heresy traitors would be more suitable? The Red Corsairs would be an almost perfect fit.

Seems like Emperor's Children could fit the bill.
But also, Red Corsairs are literally pirates (not sure what legion their geneseed is from).

Renegade Space Wolves going full plundering viking could also work, if you don't mind a warband from a loyalist geneseed.

Well, the Red Corsairs as they are now actually come from a variety of Chapters. Like many Chaos warbands, their numbers have grown from taking on disillusioned and treacherous Marines from loyal Chapters since they turned themselves.
The original Chapter, however - the Astral Claws - is of "unknown genetic origin".
