'if you don’t think they’re ready to try and take the centre in force you want probably want to deploy:

Both Paladin squads
Voldus
Apothecary
One Terminator unit (Astral Aim)
If you go first, you want to try and get off one volley of Astral Aimed Tide of Convergence Psybolt Ammunition from the big squad via using Edict Imperator prior to switching to shadows, and to move them onto a middle objective at the same time, ideally trailing out models far enough to still screen Voldus and the Apothecary. The Terminators want to sit on a home objective, while the other Paladin unit acts as either additional bodyguards for Voldus, or Gates onto another objective. On turn two (most of the time) the rest of the army shows up to the mid-board fun party and throws down (with the possible exception of one Terminator Squad looking for a weak back-line objective it can Dynamic onto).'

What do you think? Can it work in 9th? And should I switch one paladin squad into a terminator squad and bring a few servitor squads to camp home objectives and/or perform actions?

I was thinking of generally secondary objectives Grind them Down and perhaps psychic interrogatio .

I suspect game-wide buff with increasing availability of S5 and 2D weapons will more or less negate the +1W buff termies will receive. So that might be something you could think about.

Those s5/-1/2 weapons will tend to pling loudly as they bounce off the armor that both paladin and terminator grey knights enjoy. When I have fought similar armies (using an all scions army of my own) my average weapon was -2 ap, and I fired some ungodly 8e scions amount of plasma (something like 64 plasma shots hitting the enemy a round) .. and I STILL got my butt handed to me by the resilience of my friends grey knight horde, despite a near optimal landing of my scions for firing in short plasma range.

So yeah, I am not betting against this in 9th, even though its only 30 terminator/paladins.

Only thought I have though, is that 10 terminators do astral aim probably better than 5, and it seems a critical part of the strategy for an army that, once deployed, is going to be a bit sluggish. So maybe

5 term
5 term
10 term (astral)
10 paladin

but I don't know. When I fought such armies they had a contingent of the lighter grey knights to make up their battalion, and backed it up with the (shudder) pal and term units.

Well, astral aim aiming at storm bolters is a bit a waste.
I'd consider a Dread with lascannon and missile launcher for larger and save impact.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I believe it will be really crushed by some matchups, as mentioned above.

But I was hoping for 2+ saturation and no targets for their anti tank weapons, and that the three obj sec termies could last the turns needed for full points on primary objectives.

Though I was wondering if perhaps terminators instead of the 5 paladin group might be smart. It would give points enoigh for 2 group of servitors for taking actions for secondary objectives.
