Careful deployment, and enough terrain to provide a decent amount of sight-blocking. It's never a bad idea to make sure your units are in cover where possible when deploying anyway - your best bet would be to simply make sure the Reanimator can't be seen at all until you move it.
Of course, knowing where the snipers will be first gives you even better odds if you get that choice.
Don't forget about Strategic Reserves, either. The ability to bring any reserves on in the exact turn you want them (except for turn 1) is massive.

You dont use the model at all, because its utter garbage. Use more useful units instead. A unit of 10 warriors is 120 pts. and they are there from the beginning. They can move, shoot, hold markers, etc.
