One of my friends asked me to test print and paint up one of their models they are putting up on their patreon, they sent me group of frog warriors, last night I got the little guy I printed over the weekend primed and undercoated, this is how the little fellow turned out.. I also have a strand of 10mm version of this guys I am also going to need to paint up..

What you think of the style? I am rather pleased with how the model turned out esp the darkish green flint spear tip..

As a fan of both frogs and warriors i have to say these are very good! An excellent paint job and i like their bulbous little faces

Fantastic little miniatures. Definitely agree re: the spear tips, you've nailed a green obsidian look that works well with the rest of the colours.

Great realistic paint and sculpt. There are actually a weird number of frog warrior sculpts on KS / Patreon / MMF suddenly, and I really appreciate how these don't have the cartoon features and bright colors I typically see. So nice work all

For the spears they are given army painter mat black undercoat, this is then given water down army painter angel green over the black trying to get the most on the raised parts of the flint, I then give an even more water down army painter Jungle green as almost a glaze before giving straight non water down Army painter Jungle green to the very edges lightly.
