I have a severe disabilty, I've used a wheelchair for the last 38 years.

Yes, I know a wounded marine gets put into a dreadnaught. This was a pure fun project, some great friends helped me source a wheelchair.

Like a slug from a bolter rifle, this is black lightining:

What an awesome conversion! ...please tell me he's a counts-as dreadnought or something similarly kickass.

Battlefield-adaptation, nice.

Since most Imperium tech is hand-me-down and centuries old, there are only so many Dreadnoughts to go around.
If a Marine worthy gets wounded too soon, they've got to do something until a Dread comes free.

I like it!

One of the older White Dwarfs featured a Marine with the lower half of a Dalek (which GW made plastic models of, at the time!).

A Marine could easily lose the use of his legs in a battle, but not be so injured that he's put into a dreadnought. Might not have time to fit him with bionic legs before the next battle.

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.
