Inclined and crafting table aren't they are opposite things?
The inclined is a drafting table for an artist who does not want to get a easel but work on the flat surface as if from an easel.
My friend has one of those, and I can tell you that at any reasonable slope everything starts falling out of those containers, he took them off. So you need an actual table or tables to keep tools and supplies on around this drafting table.
In addition those support rails on the bottom bump into your knees so you cant really get comfortably into the table.
In addition, Drafting table without a good CHAIR is almost useless! You back if not comfortably supported to sit work and make use of the incline will be in strain and pain. Same problem with the Wacom cintiq table mounts.
In addition, inclining table is good for drawing, sometimes painting and perfect for drafting.
It is not very good for any type of hobby that needs a flat surface so paint pots and brushes and glue bottles don't roll down the slope.
Here are some ideas for a crafting table. And if you are going to make-it your self you can make it as nice and as light a you want it
#1 - Light and sturdy table surface with wall hinges and a locking system. You can have your table at any incline you want just attached to the wall. That way you can adjust the height if the wall mount points and a recline to the chair used for optimal comfort. Could be mounted lower and kept flat, or mounted higher and inclined.
#2 - Husky Work Bench. It is a sturdy flat, not expensive workbench with a crank that can raise it or lower it. So your friend can work at the table standing up or sitting down. Good alternative to those overpriced motorized height adjustable tables.

#3 - A Heavy duty monitor or flatTV table or wall mount with multiple joint arm. Artist use those for Cintiqs and to paint on. You can mount your table drawing surface on it and then it can be adjusted to any standing, chair, bed position and have a solid drawing surface to work on.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
Whatever you go for, just remember that the table needs to be comfortable to the chair
