$25 buys you an unlock to 3 different monster types which you then have access to repose and play around with and download the 3d print file forever. Lots of other pledge options including getting minis printed for you and delivered.

It's like their website/software for easily customizable minis except with monsters which should run into less issues with the chosen designs for weapons and armor looking dumb. (Which is my issue with their regular offerings). That said, for people of the human or player character persuasion what they preview for the Storm giant looks like a pretty great Mediterranean armor, and you can re scale the design. Actually, that particular mini is part of why I'm backing lol.

Apparently you can mix and match parts between different monsters (as long as you have access to that monster's parts, I think) making some real unique combos

I really like DesktopHero3D despite it being way behind Heroforge in content and quality of the website as well as some of the features. The business model of buying the asset packs once and then getting unlimited STL downloads is one I much prefer. I'm also excited for the long awaited import your own items into the tool.

I was pretty excited for the monster version but honestly there's not much reason for me to print lots of large/huge creatures as none of the games I play really use them so I'm not backing this

There is a free demo where you can customize eyebeasts and download the STLs and I recommended people with resin printers to try it out.

For me I'm thinking the giants are gonna make human sized characters I prefer over the regular options they have on Desktop Hero, but its also worth it as its really hard to find proper scaled dinosaurs for any war game.

I don't know what my third pick would be, but there are a couple of ideas for Lovecraftian type monsters floating around, and I'd probably go for one of those if they ended up being added to the roster after a vote.
