Hello to everybody! I was a gamer of the second generation of Warhammer 40,000 (Eldar faction), but I quitted very soon due to some foolishness in the rule. After almost fifteen year I returned to Warhammer 40,000 thank to the movie "Damnatus; the enemy within", which restarted the spark of my love for the lore of the Empire of Mankind and its galaxy. I don't think I will never restart to play, but I was finding a place where to talk about the stories who are the background and the true strength of the game; I hope to have found the right place to do that.

The answer is inside you; but it is wrong.

Welcome! I've also returned to 40k after recently finding part of my old 1st edition and Space Hulk collection during a clearout. I'm currently repairing and repainting them at the moment.

Almost finished repairing/repainting/restoring 1st Ed. Imperial Guard Regiment (Rhino + Whirlwind to go!)

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Welcome, mate. I last played in 2nd edition so it's all about the story these days.

I tried reading 9th edition rules and army building and... yeah... I don't think this is my cup of tea ;P
