Sorry to ask, I'm hoping someone can answer this one pretty easily. I did see a thread only about 7 weeks old about this but it got derailed haha, and never quite answered the question I'm wondering.

I know that you don't auto-lose the game just because you're tabled, and you can still win if you were ahead on points. But what I'm wondering is, if I had half my army in reserves on T2 and everything I had down died, would I still be able to bring my units in on T3? Like, it doesn't skip my turn or anything like that? Similarly, if I was using abilities to put things back into reserves and had something like 1500 points in reserves and 500 points on the table and it dies, do I get to still bring in my reserves on the next turn? Or does it literally never matter if I have no units on the table, I can always bring them in later? I'm wondering for competitive / matched play rules of course.

As far as I'm aware, in Matched Play the game simply continues but you have no units. There's nothing saying that your units can only deploy if you have units on the battlefield already.

This is also important with Stratagems, as if you have any direct damage stratagems (EG orbital bombardment) then you will have a turn in which to use them.

Units can still arrive as Reinforcements even if you have no units on the table.
