Hello. To start off, this is NOT a complaint thread, and I will probably do business with them in the future. When I do get responses to my emails, they are helpful, concise, and usually come quickly after I poke them. However, they do seem to have problems with replying to emails. As of this writing, I am waiting for my final payment via Paypal for my secondhand store sale. I have had to bug them for updates and the like in the past with this sale.

Anyone else have similar experiences or is this just me?

I've generally noticed most places are slower with email replies right now. Depending on the business many are winding up operating in an odd way compared to normal and some are seeing way more internet use an messaging than they are used too.

Meanwhile those firms that are used too it are seeing a lot more and thus sometimes the method they use to reply has slowed down because they've not hired more staff. If anything they might be missing staff in the office.

So its not a huge surprise; that said I've no idea if this is normal for this firm or if its come about since Corona.

Ok, as of this writing, I have discovered one piece of the Army - my Land Raider Crusader - listed on EBay by them, and I have yet to receive payment. Needless to say, I am very frustrated with FLG right now.

I'm assuming this is about their store?

I've only dealt with their Oz portal for a 4x4 mat and had no issues with them. That said, their Oz portal didn't do minis.

I don't tend to buy second hand models off the net, regardless of vendor - partly because ebay won't unlock my account - and partly because it gives me a reason to go to some of our cons.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I sold to their secondhand store, yes.

Sounds like they are trying to sell the item before they pay you as a way of keeping the cash flow positive. Maybe that’s how they handle all their secondhand store deals, basically they take the item with the intent to flip it quickly and pay what is owed from the proceeds.

What is their policy or commitment on how long before they pay you after receipt of goods? Net 15, Net 30? Are you sure you technically did not enter into a consignment agreement? Ask for a copy of their terms and conditions.

Regardless, you could potentially file a criminal complaint against them in Nevada? alleging theft and fencing since they took your property and have not paid you for it and now are trying to sell it.

That sort of action would suggest either internal structural problems (they don't know your landraider isn't paid for yet and have just listed it because they've got it in stock); or, as noted above, they've a cash-flow problem and basically can't pay you till they generate some cash.

The issue with the latter is you've no idea how bad their cash flow might be (if they have that issue of course). It might be your model is being sold to pay a previous payment; which means you'd have to wait for others to join in and have their models sold to generate the money for you to be paid.

It took a while, but I got my money. I probably won't be doing business with FLG again, if only because of how harrowing this was.
