Hello.
Is there a website for more general bits and bobs for dioramas as opposed to websites selling minis for war games. I have an idea that involve as sort of super villain fish tank with a piranha in it. I can make the fish tank but I don’t have the green stuff skills to sculpt a fish. I see lots of cool dioramas but I have a feeling that they are all made by hand. I know green stuff world do thinks like scenery which is a good start but I thought there might be something more specific. I mean it doesn’t have to be a piranha you know but that sort of thing.....

I have no idea, but a funny future project comes to mind reading your question: adding an Idoneth Deepkin creature tail to a squig and cut his legs off to make it look like a "squig-iranha". Hehehe, thanks for the inspiration!

Deep Wars would be one option (they have various other fish in their other categories), and Reaper miniatures would be were I'd start. I think I've seen others (This guy from Magister Militum for ex) but not entirely sure where else to look--mostly thinking you'd want to look for some of the big-back-cateloge guys like essex or Old Glory (though the quality is often kinda rough there), or small manufactures who do stuff with african safari style minis.

Vejut has the best ideas. The problem is scale. Reaper sells some very cool toothy fish, but they are generally the size of a GW squig. If that size works, here's a suggestion: (but he is the size of a regular mini)

Keeping the hobby side alive!
I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage. |

If Reaper stuff works for you and you need scale information, the 'B' and 'M' blocks in their miniature pictures indicate "Bones (plastic)" or "metal" for what sort of material the model is, but more importantly are always the same IRL size, IIRC 1/4 inch.

They have a set of aquatic families so I don’t think they will be too big. But I can build my tank around them I think
