So the Rule from Relentlessly Expansionist says, IN the Battleround BEVORE the first Turn you may move up to 6 inch.
So the Doom Stalker or alternativ Doomsday Ark rule Says "if you did not move in youre PREVIOUS MOVEMENT PHASE" you can shoot with the Stationary profile.

So i would say even if you do a 6 Inch move and then you have the first Turn you are allowed to Shoot with your stationiary Profile.

Prove me wrong but thats the wording.

I see no issue there. There was no previous movement phase.

Yes, that is correct.

Yep, looks good to me too!

Note that the wording is specifically different than directive 1 of the Protocol of the Eternal Guardian:

"Each time an attack is made against this unit, if it did not make a Normal Move, Advance of Fall Back this battle round, this unit receives the benefit of Light Cover, as described in the Warhammer 40,000 Core Book."

I think GW did put thought into these specific interactions as they made sure you can't combine Relentlessly Expansionist with this protocol. So for high power Doomstalkers, fire away!

Edit: Thinking about this more, does this actually mean that a Doomstalker can only fire Overwatch if it didn't move in its previous Movement phase?

Sentinel Construct: "Each time this model fires Overwatch, it makes attacks with its doomsday blaster using the high power profile."

Doomsday Blaster: High Power - "The bearer can only make attacks with this profile if it Remained Stationary during its previous Movement phase."

ITS previous movement phase, not THE previous movement phase.

You are right. GW once again screws up the rules.

This assumes that this isn't working as intended... but yes, it certainly looks as though moving prevents the Doomstalker from firing Overwatch.

In a similar but different wording, " immovable phalanx,... Unless that model's unit made a normal move, Advanced or fell back this BATTLE ROUND, add 1 to any saving throws..

So if I go second I'll always have the additional save against Damage 1 weapons?

Yes. I'm not sure of GW really thought through all of these rules and the implications of the timings on them but it's clear that's how they work.

Wow, fair enough. That with protocol of the eternal guardian turn one giving you light cover makes warriors have a 2+ armour save!

Maybe they did and it’s meant to give additional protection against 1st turn “alpha strike” armies that have been generally pronounced to be “unfun” by the Collective?
