The Meatfist Ogors have nearly completed their Mawpath and their Guthold is almost in sight. Though the Mawpath has had its share of good times and bad, the Ogors have defeated the Sylvaneth and it looks like they are getting a new leader…

The Story So Far
Skagg Strongbreath had been part of Glungrakk’s Ironguts since the beginning of the Mawpath, and he had seen a lot. Glungrakk fell, and then the new leaders he pledged to, Kroc and Vagoc, were killed as well. Now, the Mawtribe was leaderless, directionless, and he decided to take on the challenge.

Changing his name to Skagg the Thrice-Flatulent, he declared himself Tyrant of the Mawtribe, bashed in the heads of any other Irongut who disagreed and rounded up the Gluttons to make their way to the Guthold. His timing was impeccable, as the victories of the Mawpath would now become his, ensuring Skagg’s place as head of the Mawtribe.

That was when the Ogors discovered that a tribe of Gargants had set up home, in a long-abandoned and overgrown settlement and far too close to the Meatfist’s Guthold for comfort. They need to be ‘convinced’ to move on, and Skagg thought he had a way of doing this. He figured that the Gargants would not be too smart, and so a massed attack by the Mawtribe, hitting one part of the Gargant tribe and then the other, would confuse them totally and leave them vulnerable.

Plus, a good Gargant would make for a fine addition to the Great Mawpot.

Thanks for the write ups, was a good read. Not gonna lie, i was kinda hoping glungrakk was going to return at the end and duel off with the new tyrant to see who remained standing.

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

The easy way is always mined

We thought about it, but we had already done the duel thing right at the start of the campaign

Hope you stick around for the Path to Glory campaign!

It was fun reading these, thanks for posting!

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
