Lucius goes in Rhino with the Noise Marines. Dreads and Havocs deploy in cover to fire at long range. Raptors and Daemon Prince stay in reserve to deepstrike. Spawn go behind rhinos.

Stealth is optional for this mission!

As a supporter of Slaanesh, I like it. I just got back into 40K and have a similar list in mind. More defilers, less maulerfiends and havocs, but the gist is the same.

I would contemplate melta or plasma on the raptors to make them a little more useful for hurting bigger things. I think you have the anti-infantry portion covered.

I'm not sure what i could change to let the raptors take melta/plasma. I think the blastmasters have anti tank sorted but the raptors would be more of an objective grab deep strike unit

Love the EC list! My favourite traitor legion - and this list has a lot of promise.

Few suggestions, starting from the top of the list and working down:

1. the DP. This monster should be an absolute beatstick. Drop Infernal gaze and give him Diabolic Strength. Also maybe a relic? Raiment Revulsive is pretty disgusting, allowing him re-rolls to hit, wound and charges.

2. Lucius. Love him though you may, he's just not that good.
I feel you'd get more milage out of a Sorcerer with Prescience and Delightful Agonies, or a Dark Apostle with the Remnant of Maraviglia - for one turn you unveil it and everyone within 6" re-rolls wounds. So that includes your noise marine shooting, any close combat attacks they make, and any shots/attacks they make when they die in your turn and your opponent's turn. This relic is amazing and should not be passed up.

3. Noise Marines. Kudos for taking them - they are rather expensive. Worth bearing in mind that in squads of 10 they can take 2 blastmasters, which means you get more milage out of strats used on them (i.e. Vets of the Long War, Endless Cacophony, Excruciating Frequencies, etc.) They're also not bad in combat, and in 9th you have to prepare to ruck over objectives like you're playing rugby - so may be worth investing in some CC weapons for your asp champs.

4. Sonic Dreadnoughts. Love these things. These are perfect. But don't just consign them to long-range fire support. They're good in CC too.

5. I think the raptors do serve an important role in this list, by posing a deep-strike threat and threatening far-off objectives. Thing is, I think terminators can do this better - they can bully units off objectives, and then they can take and hold them (especially if you use Combat Drugs to make them +1T). Your terminators have better firepower, better CC potential and with Honour the Prince they can reliably make a charge from deepstrike. Food for thought.

6. Lascannons. I think you may need a couple. Relying on blastmasters for anti-tank is fun until you run up against IG with leman russes, or tyranids with unkillable tyrannofexes at T8, or even DG with their plagueburst crawlers. So unless your dice are just that hot, I'd recommend lascannons on your havocs.

7. The maulerfiend. One on his own isn't going to achieve much - may be worth dropping him to make space for more points to load up on termies, or grab another sonic dread if you have one.

8. Your rhinos have too many guns - you can shave a few points off there I think to allow for further list tinkering.

Sorry that's a lot to digest, but just my take on how to hone this host to perfection!

Honour the Prince!

Ah hell, I'm a fan of all seven.

Unless you're really set on keeping the DP as a flyer. I'd suggest dropping the wings and keep him with the guys that you feel his buff strengthens, because you are basically going mass shooting anyway. And unless you plan to deep strike him in with a squad of terminators. You'll be hard pressed to find a soft enough target to get some sort of purchase against, and have the staying power to keep rocking for a few more turns.

Hell, I've seen a Terminator lord, bubble wrapped in cultist. Turning that whole mass into a rather scary ranged force.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

Like the inclusion of more lascannons, and more sonic dreadnoughts - also power scourges. Very Slaaneshi!

I would swap out Infernal Gaze for something... good. Unless it's there for fluffy reasons, it's just a worse smite and you'd get more mileage out of Delightful Agonies or Diabolic Strength.
