I want to model a Transcendant C’Tan but not wanting to pay crazy money for an Obelisk that I don’t want just for the C’Tan. I’m thinking therefore of modelling my own but want something unique from the existing ones (E.g. I don’t want to base it on those models). Ideally I am looking for something that keeps the smooth humanoid body shape and I’ll add effects around it.

I am otherwise coming up short however, and other than an oversized Dr Manhattan model or a questionable Jesus on a cross (I am not religious but just in case I’m wrong....). Does anyone know any other sculpts that could be suitable?

You can look for 3.5-4" action figures to use as a base. If you can find, as an example, a silver surfer figure in that scale it's easy to set the pose, use some glue to lock the joints. Apply some greenstuff into the joints to hide them and smooth out the details. Add bits and detail to taste.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

New Slaanesh daemon prince is about right size and as you said, is smooth humanoid. He would need some reworking of chaos icons into necron ones. Then there is a number of new bonereapers models that have almost right aesthetic and could serve reasonably well?

I have always been frustrated by the fact that the daemons in warhammer are rather standarised. The same with the C'tan, they could in theory have my different shapes.

I would really love to se the purple sun spell from AoS to be a daemon or c'tan. If you have ever played White Wolf Exalted roleplay game you have Ligier the green sun. Essentially a very very bad entety, one of the 3rd circle souls of Malefeas. It is also one of the best craftsmen in the supernatural world who can rival Autochthon and the Twilight Solars of the First Age.

So yeha, do a big green Purple Sun spell. Just prop it up to get the right hight.
