Please let me know what you think. I do have all of the models to make this so that's a plus. I am open to suggestions and picking up a model or two. In particular I'd appreciate some suggestion son relics and warlord traits

Single battalion

HQ
Captain, jump pack, relic blade

Primaris lieutenat, MC stalker bolt rifle

Elite
Chief Apothecary
Techmarine w/combi plasma
Redemptor dread w/plasma, heavy gatling and icarus

troops
10 assault intercessors, powerfist
10 infiltrators w/ helix
10 intercessors w auto bolt rifles, powerfist

fast attack
6 x interceptors w/ assault bolters
3 attack bikes w/ heavy bolters
3 attack bikes w/ mm

heavy support
6 x eradicators

The basic plan is simple. the assault and autobolt rifle intercessors run forward. They are strong enough units that you either cede objectives to them or expend a lot of effort to kill them. the apothecary hangs around the eradicators. the techmarine with the redemptor. The captain tries to time his assult for hitting with either of the intercessor units. the infiltrators sieze objectives early. The interceptors and heavy bolter bikes are their to counter primaris and light vehicles at range. the mm bikes are there to hopefully eat vehicles and dreadnaughts.

Use your relic slot to give the Captain the Eye of Hypnoth for a free Lieutenant aura. If the aim of the Lieutenant is to hold him back I personally pay 1CP to give him Fleetmaster, as it's good to have an orbital strike in your back pocket for when needed.

It's a nice idea, but that's pretty much going to make him glow like the most caustic shade of yellow that you can imagine. If the opponent has any snipers available, they'll be targeting him on turn one.
The Vindicare's headshot rule pretty much makes him a nightmare against most characters that anyone can field.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

Interesting suggestions/criticisms...re "caustic yellow"...which one are you referencing and what would you do differently? As I said, the captain is hitty and the lieutenant is supposed to be more of a support character.

The joke was that the Lieutenant was going to be like a beacon to the opponent. Because having a single character with such a punishing, though one shot only, ability at their disposal. Is not something that would easily go unnoticed.
Maybe using the Spartean and seeing if you can plonk it down on a viable model.
It may not seem like much, but being able to snipe characters out of gun-lines and possibly even eliminating that pesky flamer before you charge the main group. Is not exactly something to sneeze at.

If you were running a more standard terminator lineup. I'd push for you to bring Lysander. The man can pretty much hand most models around T5-6 their own asses, so he's not going to be short on having viable targets.

Maybe runing the interceptors with Plasma, seeing as they will benefit from the Captain aura.
Eradicators are safe, a kind of "salty" choice given what I've seen over the last few months. But at leas you just brought the one squad. Don't take their heavier load outs, as they will do plenty with their TO rule coming into affect.
-As a side note, I've run across players running four to five separate squads of these guys in some rather strange detachment lineups. Bringing to mind the old parking lot armies of old.-

I'd have more for you if I played IF more often, but I only used them as a safe gun-line back into 7th to supplement my GKs.

I had wondered about plasma interceptors. Interceptors make a great turn one unit. They can really put a hurt on dreads, transports and light vehicles. They benefit from the super doctrine.

Interesting.

So, a revamped list... Comes in at 2000. I have all these models so I am kind of partial. Suggestions on warlord traits and gear are especially welcome. I am playing as imperial fists. I am sort of wondering about putting my captain on a bike. Good movement, and better toughness and wounds. I made the eradicators smaller to avoid blast issues, same with the inceptors.

Captain w/ jump pack (teeth of terra)
Chief Apothecary
Tech marine

Redemptor dread w/ plasma, heavy gatling, icarus

10 x assault intercessors, power fist
10 x infiltrators, helix
10 x intercessors with auto bolt rifles, power fist

5 x inceptors w/ auto bolters
3 x attack bikes with multimelta

5 x eradicators
whirlwind, vengeance launcher
whirlwind, vengeance launcher

Any thoughts you can offer are appreciated.
