Yes? I don't see the question here. Unlike the Non-Codex Compliant rule for DA and SW, it doesn't apply to successor chapters.

I have now confirmed that I was partially right and partially wrong.

The successor chapters can upgrade a model to a chapter ancient

However a sanguinary ancient has the chapter ancient keywords built-in so can't be upgraded as you can't have the keyword twice in your army.

Which also means sanguinary ancients can't be taken alongside chapter ancients and also means they are effectively unique characters.

So the actual answer was yes but with some limitations
