so if im understanding correct i can use spacemarine unit from codex spacemarine in the same detacment without breaking the detachment rules
but do the units from the spacemarine codex use the same rules as deathwatchs units from the supplement, gaining special ammunition.
and how about doctrines deathwatch doesnt follow the normal rules but can choose a couple of times in wicht doctrine thy are,
does this also mean the units from the sm codex are in that doctrine or do these follow the normal rules from codex sm?
As noted by others Deathwatch now counts as a
<<Chapter>> of Space Marines. You get a detachment or army of
Deathwatch the same way you get a detachment or army of
Ultramarines. Codex Space Marines notes which units from that book may have
Deathwatch as their chapter.
Special Issue Ammunition is now a rule for specific weapons, generally called
Deathwatch weapon of some sort or another.
All units in a
Deathwatch army are affected by Mission Tactics, the Deathwatch Doctrine rule.
