Hi everyone,

I'd like to ask everyone for advice.
I haven't played in a very long time and I am still contemplating on which army I should buy.
Tyranids are one of the factions I love, especially the big models!
So I'd like to check if a list like this would be at least semi-competitive in 9th edition where objectives are more important than killing.
I'd run two detachments, about 1k points each, one for shooting and one for melee:

Battalion Detachment [1,013pts]
Hive Fleet
Selections: Kraken

HQ
Broodlord [7 PL, 125pts]
Chameleonic Mutation, Power: Smite & The Horror
The Swarmlord [14 PL, 270pts]
Warlord, Power: Catalyst, Power: Smite & Synaptic Lure

Troops
Genestealers [12 PL, 180pts]
12x Genestealer
Rending Claws
Ripper Swarms [2 PL, 36pts]
3x Ripper Swarm
Ripper Swarms [2 PL, 36pts]
3x Ripper Swarm
Ripper Swarms [2 PL, 36pts]
3x Ripper Swarm

Heavy Support
Scythed Hierodule [12 PL, 235pts]
Adaptive Physiology
Selections: Accelerated Digestion

Dedicated Transport (for Genestealers)
Tyrannocyte [6 PL, 95pts]
5x Deathspitter

Spearhead Detachment [985pts]
Hive Fleet
Selections: Kronos
Stratagems
Bounty of the Hive Fleet [-1CP]
1 Extra Bio-artefact

HQ
Neurothrope [5 PL, 95pts]
The Norn Crown, Power: Smite & Symbiostorm

Elites
Hive Guard [12 PL, 250pts]
5x Hive Guard (Impaler)

Heavy Support
Carnifexes [12 PL, 260pts]
Carnifex
Enhanced Senses, Monstrous Scything Talons, Spore Cysts, Stranglethorn Cannon
Carnifex
Enhanced Senses, Monstrous Scything Talons, Spore Cysts, Stranglethorn Cannon
Exocrine [9 PL, 170pts]
Tyrannofex [10 PL, 210pts]
Selections: Rupture Cannon

Total: [105 PL, 8CP, 1,998pts]

I'd start with only 13 models on the table.
Tyrannocyte and Ripper Swarms would join later.
Broodlord, Swarmlord, Hierodule would try to close while the Kronos detachment would unleash hell during the shooting phase.

This army would look so awesome on the table so please tell me that it can win

Tyranids in generally aren't 'viable' if you want to win. Point-for-point they're soft, pillow-fisted, and slow. They're great if you want to run an antagonist force of mooks for a beginner to feel good about beating up, but if you don't want to be someone's punching bag try something else.

Any Nids players out there?

Sadly not a lot of Nid players in the current Meta besides huge apoc games I never see them anymore and those games are just for fluff sake.

Sad indeed.
I watched quite a few Tyranids battle reports on these two channels:
https://www.youtube.com/c/TacticalTortoise/videos
and
https://www.youtube.com/c/StrikingScorpion82/videos
and the Nids armies look pretty solid in these vids to me as a total noob.

Anyways, like I stated at the beginning I am still trying to figure out which army I should buy and Tyranids are one of my favorites because I played them a long time ago, when Carnifex was "ugly".
Other armies I like are Chaos, Sisters and Custodes.
Another idea I am leaning to atm is a CSM + Demons soup with World Eaters and several Greater Daemons + Nurglings.
But that would include several FW models and I am not sure if I am allowed to play them everywhere and some models are also hard to get (Obliberators).
So I am still not sure what to do and I am playing around with ideas...

There certainly are some big bugs which are decent, but I don't think pure nidzilla is particularly competitive at the moment. Anti-tank weaponry in many armies can shred most of them without any difficulty. Plus 9th favours armies which are better at taking and holding objectives, which doesn't fit nidzilla too well.

With that out of the way, here's a few points regarding your list:

Genestealers out of a tyrannocyte is a waste, particularly in Kraken.
Kraken can run genestealers up to 34" across the table before declaring a charge. So getting them to instead try and make a 9" charge from deepstrike is a bad idea. Genestealers have enough problems right now without forcing that upon them.
I'd recommend dropping the tyrannocyte.

Don't take The Norn Crown on the neurothrope. It's not a good relic, and doesn't fit what that neurothrope should be doing (babysitting the gunline).
You should be taking the Resonance Barb instead. That's a far superior relic, and will make Symbiostorm very difficult to fail.

Rupturefexes have reliability issues. Personally if forced to take a tyrannofex, I'd stick an acid spray on it. Although I'd rather have a second exocrine instead.

I don't think I'd bother with the carnifexes. They're a bit flimsy at the moment, and don't offer that much shooting. If you want to stick with the nidzilla theme, consider a barbed hierodule. Only 15 points more than the pair of carnifexes.

For competitive tyranid advice, I'd recommend taking a look at RandomHeretic/Stormcoil's analysis and battle reports.
