Legally, Successor Chapter Tactics or Inheritors of the Primarch would allow one to use Minotaurs as X, Y, Z Chapter Tactics, but the main point is; would you personally be okay with that? So long as you don't use special characters from another Chapter?

Per the Forge World Compendium, GW suggest that the Minotaurs are an Imperial Fist Successor Chapter that should use the traits Duelist and Stalwart.

As this is a suggestion, you are free to do whatever you want. However, those are the "official" rules (well, suggestion) for the Chapter.

As long as you're not using chapter specific characters/gear/units/etc I don't care what you call your chapter or what legal combo of traits you select for them.
Take something Chapter specific? Guess what, no matter how you paint them, you're playing that chapter.

AKA you can get nuts with it if you want. Go Stealthy and Duelist if you want and go Raven Guard successor to reap the amazing benefits of those Strats. Nothing stops you.

Right. So long as I don't use any Chapter specific characters, wargear, etc., I should be fine.

No reason why you wouldn't want to though. If youre looking at doing a Terminator character, Moloc was still potentially good value last I checked, and their Contemptor character still has WS/BS2+.

I hadn't seen the update for their Chaplain though so no comment.
