Finished up my Bloodbowl Dwarf Ref. Incredibly proud of this one.

I put a lot of focus on the skin and beard I think it paid off. I also tried highlighting with a little texture (see the red book and leather belts) for the first time. I think it really added a lot to the final product.

The base - I really wanted to try doing a snowy base for a long time. I decided to go with a really worn, muddy field - no grass, that's all been torn up! - with a little bit of snow clumps (like I remember the field being when I played football!). I was worried that the snow would conflict with the field lines, but I think it worked out great in the end.

(Please ignore the cat hair that got attached to the feather during the varnishing step... Just noticed while posting and it is now removed!)

That is a fantastic mini and you've done a superb job, really like the skin tone on the arm in particular. Awesome work!

Big painting day today!

Painted this guy up as a Wood Elf. Tried something new on the skin with the green shadows, not my best work but lots of learning done! But I am very pleased with the feather (what I imagine to be Phoenix feather) to contrast all the greens, blacks and browns. Happy also with the gemstone and NMM belt buckle. NMM is a lot easier to make look good when it's this small!

Also in love with the base. I imagine some krumpin just occurred "off base" causing the blood splatter and a prompt sending off!

Test scheme for my Imperial Noble team. I love the black and yellow scheme, it's a classic.

I'm not well versed on Warhammer World lore, so if anyone has any suggestions for a team name, I'm all ears!

Finished a couple of goblins. I am mixing up the skin colours to provide some variety, but I think the hint of green skin and red armour gives enough cohesion between the two that they could come from the same team. I think I prefer the bright vibrant green, so most of them will be more similar to that, but I am planning on painting the "moon head" goblin with a very pale skin tone (paler than this one even), as if he is a Night Goblin who hasn't seen a lot of sun!

Looking good! Yellow and black with red details is the colour scheme of Averland. How about Averland Avengers?
