Would a Primaris marine ever have a Crux Terminatus? If I remember right, they are awarded to marines that are trained in terminator armour. I don't think Primaris are though are they?

You can have Primaris Marines who were once normal Marines, who may have been trained in Terminator armour, and then became Primaris.

Ah OK thanks. I'm a little rusty on SM lore these days. Treated myself to a Primaris Cpt and want to do some kit bashing.

The Crux isn't awarded for being trained in terminator armor, terminator training is given to Marines who have earned the Crux Terminatus. It's typically also a requirement for joining the First Company of most chapters. So yeah, Primaris would still be able to be awarded the Crux, they just don't fit in the armor that recipients occasionally wear.

If SW could fit wolf guard Ranulf in to a set of cataphract terminator armour, then normal marines could fit in a regular primaris in to one. As big as they are primaris aren't almost the size of a dreadnought.

I’m busy Primaris-scaling some Terminators using the new Chaos Termy kit. Very easy to do and they look the part next to Primaris.

And they put him in Gravis armour. So maybe they did think Gravis armour was going to be the replacement. But seeing as we can have troops in Gravis armor I'm not sure what they'll do for veterans.

Considering how much chaos iconography is molded into that kit I'm a little surprised at that. I'd believe it can be done, "easily" not so much.

You should post pics with some Intercessors in the shot for comparison after they're assembled.

In the fluff they mentioned using Gravis patterns for clearing Space Hulks, so it's clear that it's the mass produced equiv to Terminator armour since not even Cawl knows how to make Terminator armour.
