I always thought that the Sisters miracles were purely psychosomatic and not a result of His direct intervention. So they believe He is helping but actually they are doing it all themselves. I accept that this may not be the case though.

I didn't realise that but then again I didn't realise they had done actual miracles; I thought they just pushed themselves in battle with ordinary faith, nothing to do with the warp. I shouldn't even be posting in this thread as I only read the rules for Sisters not the lore (which I am now interested in looking up); however I have now re-read my post and realised there is a lame joke in there somewhere, which is redemption of a sort.

Off-topic: why have they all got the same haircut?

Yes! these guys kick ass! Original skull faced killas. Death watch, those black armour blood angels, and the moody chaos curious dark angels ain't got nothing on these guys.
