So I recently got my hands on the SM Codex and I'm looking through the units, and I can't find their points value, which is what I want to know, since I prefer building armies using points, rather than power value. So I'm wondering if there is a website or book that contains the point values.

make sure its the right SM codex -- there are so many recent editions of it you could easily have the 2.0 version 1, or something, from late eighth, rather than the ninth.

The points are usually in the back of any GW book, last couple pages of charts.

They've moved them off the datasheets, as they have decided to start fiddling with them on a yearly basis, in order to fine tweak balance in a faster than "once an edition" basis, so having them together in one or two pages at the back of the book is not only easier for list building (as its the values in one place), it also supports power level list building for those intrested in that method, AND means they only have to declare those two pages as out of date for revision purposes.

Take note, however, when the chapter approved books for 2021 drop, a lot of units will have their points values adjusted to buff/nerf them, so keep an eye out for the announcement of those.

or use battlescribe and hope the guys programming that have kept it up to date, either works.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
