I have a large infinity collection (pile of unassembled shame I am finally starting to assemble). I have never played infinity though I have owned models for years, but recieving defiance sparked my interest of painting and assembling some sectorals as the minis are great (not to mention guerilla miniature games' videos are a great motivator-keep up the ace work Ash!).
My usariadna bases are old round style with sand, baking soda, crackle paint... perfect desert bases.
For the rest (jsa, yu jing, haq, pano, aleph, nomads, tohaa, ca, mercs, etc, I am at a loss for unique basing. I'm also not sure how to base for defiance, as the models may be used in games of infinity too.
More recent model bases have arcs molded on them... what is the consensus out there on these? Are folks using the old bases, newer bases, mixing types in armies, using base toppers, sand, etc? I really don't want to rebase my usariadna... but sucks some of the newer models have different bases.
Looking for suggestions on base style and then basing options per army/sectoral. Sorry for the long drawn out post, thanks in advance!
