So, for example, the lowly acolyte in the inquisition no longer has a cost associated with roughly half its prior shooting options -- it can still spend 10 for a combiplasma, but a PLASMA gun is free, or at least, is described in the statline as an option and not in the munitorium as a price increase.

This is wierd, its nuts, and its led to the creation of my new favorite inquisition hunterkiller group,
"Ordo Plasmatikus and their pet monkey"

I notice a few other places that options seem incorporated into the price, like the valkyrie seems to have the multirocket pods and a multilaser as free options now, but start at 120 instead of the cheaper 110 you could buy with hellstrike/multilaser. Which just went up in price.

Am I misinterpreting the new cost rules? That anything not mentioned is free?

I have no idea about what most of that means, least of all the baffling thread title.

The last sentence I can answer: yes, that’s correct, as it’s stated as such in the Munitorum Field Manual 2021.

If an item has no points cost listed in its list of points cost, it has no points cost. You won't need to pay points to take it, nor will you get a points "refund" if you swap it out.
