With the Sinistrous Hand ritual knife she heals 1d3 wounds if any models that are not vehicles are destroyed by her melee weapons "...at the end of the Fight phase"

Can you use the Sinistrous Hand ability fighting in the psychic phase? HF specifically uses the language "...as if it were the Fight phase".

"As if" is not "is".

The rule doesn't let you heal "Whenever you pretend it's the end of the Fight Phase", it only heals "at the end of the Fight phase." It doesn't matter how hard you pretend it's the Fight phase, unless it's actually the fight phase, you don't get to heal.

Keep in mind that the "Out of Phase Rules" sidebox does not apply here, as the healing rule itself is not saying "as if", thus the OoPR box doesn't apply to it.

As usual, it's as clear as mud and GW haven't bothered to actually address the issues.

BCB is correct.

If the Sinistrous Hand Ritual Knife healed "after the model fights" or even "after the model fights in the Fight phase" it would function when using Hysterical Frenzy to fight "...as if it were the Fight phase".

However, the SHRK heals at the end of the Fight Phase, which only happens after all fights in the actual Fight Phase.
