I'm running a list with a GUO with a bell for a 4+ one model come back and three units (9man, 2x 5man) of plaguedrones. If I run a sloppity bile piper (65 points) and give each unit an icon (45 points total) it will cost me 110 points but I roll two dice morale and a 1 gets a drone back. With the bell I can potentially get 2 drones back in each squad if they have lost at least 2, or a double chance to get one back if one has been taken away.. Plague drones are 35 points atm so I could instead just run 3 more to make one 7 man unit and one 6 man unit. I plan on running two big squads of plaguebearers over two patrols. I'm also running a scriviner and a daemon prince for all the buffs and a fec tree.

The only other buff of the sloppity is giving my GUO an extra attack and advance and charge and the chance of passing some morale tests better on the roll of a 2 or 3, though it doesn't get me a model back.

Depending on if I take the sloppity and icons or not makes me swap between two big units of PBs with an icon each or if I don't take him and the 5 icons (3 for flies 2 for bearers) I can take something like 9,6,6 flies and 5 more pbs in each unit but no icons.

Not sure what the maths is here and which way to go with it.

If you can keep the scrivener in range, then probably. The one game I tried that, I was so mad at myself... I got the scrivener out of position (too many models in a tight space and then I rolled a 1 for its advance, so couldn't correct my mistake either.
