If I am reading this correctly, then a rights of war warlord trait slapped onto a chapter ancient with steadfast example would make any unit, elite or not, standing next to him count as two objective secured guys? (Well, Core unit, anyways.)

(I appreciate most marines don't double dip generic warlord traits, so this would require a second warlordtraited character be nearby, I suppose)

This is possible with two characters. You cant give one SM character the two WLTs you mentioned, AFAIK. IH allow two WLTs on one character with a stratagem, but the second must be an IH WLT.
