I am perplexed, and I need a guide.

Is Saga of the Beast, as far as SWs are concerned, totally invalidated now? Do Stratagems like Knowledge of the Foe, which are in Saga but not the SW supplement or SM Codex, still function?

If so, does that also mean that they have strats like Rapid Fire, which are in Saga but were taken out of the SM Codex?

I AM SO CONFUSED!

Saga of the Beast has been obsolete for space wolves since the Space Wolves 9e index. You cannot use anything from the book.

Granted this is not at all clear if you're just coming to the game now!

Thank you! A simple answer to a simple question.

Bummer, since I liked the one that actually uses the Wolf Guard keyword.

Current rules for SW are those included in the SM codex and the SW supplement.

Saga of the Beast has been invalidated, the SW half at least. Orks half is still in play.

To confirm what the others say, the rules you use now for SW are the SM Codex and the SW supplement. The SW are now just a vanilla SM army with a handful of special units, their scouts are now back to the 2nd edition fluff wet-behind-the-ears newbies and their Terminators can luckily still be Wolf Guard with a flexible loadout, but they have no Rune Priests, Iron Priests, or Wolf Priests anymore (no, a Chaplain with a keyword is not a Wolf Priest).
