Hey guys.

I was wondering something.

You declare a charge against A, and you reach A. Then when you pile in, your big ass base, your pile in to A can let you within engagement range of B, are you allowed to do this? Or are you only allowed to pile in outside of anyone elses engagement ranges, unless you declared a charge against them?

Hope, is the first step on the road to disappointment.

The only restrictions on Pile In is that you must end up closer to the closest enemy model.

Units that charged, however, can only Fight against units that they Declared a Charge against or that performed a Heroic Intervention. So against an intermixed jumble of enemy units you could conceivably Pile Into engagement range of an enemy unit that you did not declare a charge against, but you could not attack them. They would, however, have attacks against you.

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

As long as you end up closer to the closest enemy model before you make the pile in, you can pile in to engagement range with anything, even a unit you didn't charge.

As TTB says above, you cannot make attacks against units you didn't charge if you charged that turn.

Slight modification if you charge you can pile in to anyone but only fight the target of your charge

If you heroically intervene were charged or are in an existing combat you can pile into anyone and fight
