While building a list I noticed that little 4-5pts Grots: Ammo Runts, Grot Orderly and Grot Oilers are mildly useful for the extra wound and for little effects and then thought about more flavour of grots.
Every Ork Character
imho should have an option for a Grot, lorewise those are everywhere and even bosses like to keep'em around for pets like squigs. Moreover this would make an army that literally portrays a messy mob of different creatures even more messy and colorful.

1. Chainer Grot, a little helper for Weirdboy that keeps'em at bay in order to avoid Waaagh energy explosions as good as they can, 5pts for a little chainer that one time can give -1 to a Psichic manifestation and avoid perlis of the Warp, exploding in the process. Weirdboys with the Warphead Stratagem could have the option to take 2 of those, being lore that they get literally chained all the time outside of Ork kamps.
2. Phone Grot, this could work like a nerfed Vox Caster from Imperial Guard, 5pts and attached to any Warboss, may give an aura extension for the Breaking 'eads and Waaagh abilities, not sure if this should be once per battle or once per ability (or limitless).
3. The remaining are for named
HQs and they are a little trickier for they should have little companions written and maybe named in lore, Snikrot could have a little ninja grot for example but I find very difficult to justify companions out of nowhere.
