Hello everybody,

First of all, I am the poster that recently joined under the alias, "PieIntheSky". I intended to just ask one question but it's a great forum and have decided to stay, so I wanted to use a log-in name I liked better. I hope that's cool.

I have not done any war-gaming to speak of yet, however I did mess around a little bit with Warhammer 40K when I was about 12 years old (Rogue Trader - 1st Edition), and I've stayed interested in BloodBowl, but my primary interest in this hobby over the years has been in miniature painting which I do for fun and also for Dungeons & Dragons. I like old-school roleplaying (1st Edition Dungeons & Dragons).

Oh really? Ha! I'm guessing it was spelled with a "c" however.

Probably a common moniker for old-school gaming, it comes from the fact that the orcs in 1st Edition AD&D were drawn looking very pig-like.
