Another year, another zinequest, another rule set.

This year I'm launching a fantasy twist on the planet28 rules, with enhanced roleplaying elements, a whole new range of traits and abilities, and a more in depth campaign system for long form storytelling using miniature warbands.

as with planet 28 the core rules will be available as a PDF for the community to use once the campaign is finished.

you can check out the campaign here:

I goofed around with Planet 28 and had fun, so I'm more than happy to give this a try.

I certainly have a whole lot more fantasy figures painted than scifi anyways.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Will there be solo rules and, say, a bestiary or random opponent generator? I guess it would be great to see, say, a webpage that spits out a stat block and point value for a monster miniature we might have, as well as what sort of AI the figure would have in a fight (eg. Coward, Bloodlust).

Backed the printed copy. I always liked everything with the oldhammer & /28 flavour, so why not.

Solo rules will totally be coming down the line - although these rules will be compatible with the planet28 solo rules I will be working on a more in depth solo system for Brutal Quest.

I love the idea of an opponent generator and bestiary! I release P28 bestiary entries through the facebook group and patreon and will do the same for BQ, but the idea of a unified realm of chaos style multi system beastiary book with some sort of generator would be a cool project in the near future.
