Did i miss a FAQ or errata somewhere about Concussion grenades strat for AC?

As the stratagem is worded, the -1 to hit either applies permanently for the rest of the game, or only during the shooting phase that you use it on (which would be useless).



Im sure the RAI is that it applies during the following fight phase, but in the actual clause where it mentions the penalty it doesnt state a duration.

It is sometimes best to quote the rule you are asking about.

On further study, it seems that it just applies the Stunned condition until the end of the turn (battle round).

This is what prevents overwatch and gives -1 to hit.




This does mean, if your going first in the battle round that the -1 to hit applies to all phases of the battle round however. Unless they meant player turn, but this was written at the start of 8th before they clarified player turn and battle rounds.

Err, what? 8th edition used the Battle Round and Turn terminology from the start.

Yep, was just having a brain fart.

The strat could still use a rewording just to prevent mistakes like i made on cursory glance, but it isnt a big issue.
