Hey guys,

A pal of mine was talking about a smaller scale game format but he couldn't remember the name of it. It wasn't Kill Team, it uses all the 40K rules proper but there are add ons designed to make it work at like 500pts. Can anyone point me in the direction of what he was talking about?

Normal 9th Edition 40K has rules and missions for 500 point games in the basic rulebook.

I think the term you might be looking for is "combat patrol". It used to be an additional set of rules/restrictions to play 40k at 500pts or less, but is now baked into the core rules.
