Is it just me or are the pictures not in the same order as the voting options? I voted for A "The metallic one" meaning the pic in the middle with the golden body and blue lion. I think it looks really cool.

Its actually silver with the exception of lion head, chest skull eagle and rims. Hmm a few have said this, I think the photos create that illusion, in person it doesnt, and honestly it looks the messiest/worst IMO hehe. Anyhow here is the recipe:
As for the metal it is SUPER easy without doing the cuts/damage. Black undercoat, dark metal mixed with a dark gold (I use scale 75) heavily diluted slightly at a top angle, spray Vallejo duralumenum from a more top angle very lightly. Then (and here is the real easy secret), let it dry and coat it all with AK interactive "Streaking Grime" and use a cuetip, etc to wipe off from the edges and main parts where light will shine. Can probably all be done in like 20 minutes easy (minus dry time). I edge highlighted the metal too but I don't know how much that added because metals suck lol.
For stratches, what I did with that was take white lines as thin as possible (Warcolours white is very very easy to erase so you can make the line very thin, otherwise I hate their paints), and use a black line next to it, depending on which side it should go. Black ink works best in my experience. Making it slightly unstraight or choppy helps the realism.

Okay, I can see the difference between the armor and the lion's head, now that you mention it. It must be the streaking grime then. Regardless, it's a lovely color. I'll look into it for my indomitus necrons. Thanks!

So the main base colors for the blue are Warcolours blue 5 (sometimes with a tad bit of black added in) through an airbrush (these paints suck if not used through an airbrush for base coating. They work for edge highlighting and details well though). It is then highlighted through an airbrush with Warcolors blue 3 and or exclusively FW inks florescent blue. A final highlight is added with a bit of white mixed into that previous mix. If I over saturate the dulled whitened highlight I glaze over it a bit with the 2nd one (this can be key or the blue becomes too muted with the highlight). Edge highlights I generally use a Vallejo or scale 75 blue with white with a brush. For the reflection points (e.g. on the helm) I feather a mostly white blue Vallejo or scale 75 in a tiny circle with a brush after that I dot on a tiny white dot.)
Silver/gold/blue guy for me!
Has a Celestial Lions vibe but with the Black Templar "gothic and angry" motif. Two of my favorite flavors combined.
They all look ace though.

Thanks for taking the trouble to share that; it's really appreciated.
Definately black. I despise black coloured armour as it lacks definition in normal light unless painted really well which you have done. Gold is for storm casts and custodes, blue is for ultramarines and thousand sons but black can be used for many different things
