They released an updated Munitorum Field Manual PDF last week, so its likely to be a while before we see a print version.

I don't know it was kind of a strange, the GK changes for example didn't make much sense. Specialy in relation to 8th ed loyalist marines rules and how long one is going to have to wait for a GK codex, as GW doesn't seem to be following their 8th codex patern.

But if it is to be the case, then I guess we are not getting a spring FAQ/errata batch.

From 2017 to 2019, Chapter Approved was released in December. In 2020, Chapter Approved was released alongside 9th edition. For this year? No idea.

The Munitorum Field Manual is only one part of the Chapter Approved compilation.

Didn't we get mid year updates as well...as well as some random spot updates and even some errata which did more to change the game than actual chapter approved?

IDK I can't keep it straight. I wouldn't really call what they released with 9th a chapter approved. It was more like an index...except a really bad one.

If the 2017 plan has any weight any longer.
Current conditions have them sort of planning on the fly- we just got quite a few FAQs.

---
Whatever the plan was with Chapter Approved, they're throwing that label around on a lot of stuff... mission packs, crusade rules, whatever. The once a year 'random stuff + points' may be out the window. Especially since we just got points.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Well the 2020 MFM and it's recent errata still hasnt actually addressed half the glaringly obvious issues with points imbalances between factions. If that show was supposed to be a balance update GW needs to stop feeding its design team meth.

Somewhere in Canada

Last year's Chapter Approved came in the form of GT Mission Pack + Munitorum Field Manual.

So it makes me wonder if every CA will now be the new GT Mission Pack?

I hope not, because CA was always a mixed bag of stuff + MFM. Mission packs are cool and all, but they're a homogenous collection, not a mixed bag.

Wait and see I guess.
